Mohave PTO Mission Statement:
The goal of the Mohave Middle School Parent and Teacher Organization (PTO) is to enhance and support the educational experience at Mohave, to develop a closer connection between school and home by encouraging parental involvement, and to enrich the environment at Mohave through volunteering and financial support.
There are a lot of opportunities to get involved with the Mohave PTO.
We could use your skills in Advertising, Fundraising, Hospitality, Event Planning, and more. This is an opportunity to be part of your child’s education and Middle School experience. We meet once a month. We strive for a diverse board that will give a voice to all of the children and families.
The goal of the Mohave Middle School Parent and Teacher Organization (PTO) is to enhance and support the educational experience at Mohave, to develop a closer connection between school and home by encouraging parental involvement, and to improve the environment at Mohave through volunteering and financial support. The PTO injects an average additional $15,000 per year into Mohave to support our teachers, kids, purchasing school equipment and supplies, and funding school activities and programs that aren’t funded through the school district.
The PTO supports: Science Lab Materials, Language Arts Novels, Music Program Supplies, Drama Program, Classroom supplies, 8th Grade Dance, Quarterly Teacher Luncheons, Scholarship Banquet, Sports Recognition Luncheon, 8th Grade Shirts, and a variety of support for on-campus events to enrich our students educational experience.
