CONGRATULATIONS MOHAVE!
Led by Principal Rob Aguilar, Mohave applied for and WON the very generous $12,500 Technology Grant from the Scottsdale Charros! “We are excited to receive this honor from the Scottsdale Charros. It will help us purchase tablets which will allow for greater technology integration in our classrooms as well as enhance our efforts in the areas of intervention and enrichment,” said Mr. Aguilar.
Mohave Middle School students Valentin Hernandez, 8th grade Student Body President; Mackenzie Shane, 7th
grade; and Alex Daer, 7th grade, helped write the grant that will be used to purchase Acer Iconia Tablets.
The Scottsdale Charros is a charitable organization which raises money principally through spring training, to

Saguaro Learning Community Science Expo – February 16 from 6-8 p.m. at Navajo Elementary School, 4525 N. Granite Reef Road, Scottsdale 85251. Activities will include Lego Robotics Demonstration(s), Gaming Demonstration (programming), Project Astro (partnership with the UofA), Embry Riddle- planetary display and activities, ASU’s Daedalus Club (rockets), and much more.
